This nylon cap features a salmon graphic embroidered with a Ryokudo-kai SKEM design. The embroidery in the same color as the body on the front adds a subtle touch of elegance.

The salmon graphic is said to be very auspicious. The word "salmon" (sake) is a pun for "avoiding disaster" (sakeru), and its strong vitality in swimming upstream to return to its birthplace makes it a symbol of warding off evil, success in life, and prosperity of descendants (roe, spawning). It is also used in Shinto rituals to pray for good health and protection from illness, such as when smoked salmon is given as a year-end gift.
