gravis was born in 1998 as a shoe brand with the concept of "après-snowboarding," a spin-off brand from the snowboarding brand Burton. Since then, it has permeated street culture not only through snowboarding but also surfing and skateboarding. The brand's concept is to improve people's lifestyles by developing sneakers that are comfortable, well-designed, and highly functional, to be worn after snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing.

A noteworthy team with "Kenya Okuno" as team manager among the original members, and "Mana Sasaki," a technical all-rounder, among others.
