The brand was launched in 2012. YOPPI, also known as Yoshifumi Egawa, has always been a driving force in the Tokyo street scene, starting with the legendary brand HECTIC. Masashi Seki, who has worked on clothing products for numerous labels, launched the brand with a new concept.

The brand name is Spanish for "Hombre" (man, adult) and "Niño" (child). Based on the concept of "RETRO and NEW," the brand is characterized by timeless yet unique silhouettes and details, such as putting a new interpretation on nostalgic styles and adding a classical essence to cutting-edge items.
