Hawaiian shirt featuring a salmon graphic designed by Ryokudokai SKEM. Made of quick-drying polyester fabric for a smooth and comfortable feel.

The salmon graphic symbolizes good fortune, as the word for salmon (sake) can be a pun for "avoiding disaster" (sakeru). Salmon are also considered very auspicious fish due to their strong life force, returning upstream to spawn. They represent protection from evil, success in life, and prosperity of descendants (roe, spawning). New Year's salmon (aramaki-zake) are given as gifts during the winter season, and salmon are also used in Shinto rituals to pray for good health and ward off misfortune.
