This is an original Buzz Rickson's model that is a shorts version of the 1945 military chino . Chino pants generally have split seams and slanted pockets, but metal buttons (stamped US ARMY) on the front and double-welted pockets are rare even among vintage pants . The rise is deep and the silhouette is loose and wide. While the trousers have a metal button fly, this model has a zipper fly for easy on and off.
