Based on the AF1, an improved version of the classic AF1, the AF1 HOLLOW is lighter thanks to a hollow kingpin and hollow axle shaft . This latest update features a reverse kingpin design , which significantly reduces kingpin snags during grinds, allowing for smoother and more stable grind tricks.
The aluminum is 70% stronger than previous models. The internal threaded axle nut, newly designed bushings and cup washers, and carefully hand-set pivot bushings deliver superior suspension performance and control. Furthermore, the precision-machined hanger ends ensure unrestricted bearing movement, minimizing speed loss. This meticulous attention to detail guarantees the ultimate riding feel.
In addition, the nut on the axle can be used as a threading tool for skate tools . A tool specifically for reverse kingpin specifications is also included, making maintenance easy.
