How long does a truck last?
Following on from `` When is it time to replace the deck? '', today I would like to write about ``the lifespan of a truck.''
Just because a truck is made of metal, it doesn't last a lifetime!
Grind tricks use this track part. Of course, if you grind, it will wear out more and more.
Look at the photo above. If you use it any longer than this, the ``shaft'' of the truck will come out.
You can use the truck until it breaks, but it will break if you don't replace it too often.
It is best to replace it before the shaft is visible. It is the longest lasting of all skateboard parts, but be careful not to overuse it!
