How long does a truck last?
Following on from " When is it time to replace your deck? " today I would like to write about "The lifespan of trucks."
Just because a truck is made of metal doesn't mean it will last a lifetime!
Grind tricks are done by grinding on this track. Of course, the more you grind, the more it will wear down.
Please look at the photo above. If you use it any more than this, the shaft of the truck will come out.
A truck can be used until it breaks, but if it is not replaced properly it will snap off.
It's best to replace them before the axle becomes visible. They are the longest-lasting part of a skateboard, but don't overuse them!
