A modern remake based on a vintage shirt from the 1960s that I found at a second-hand clothing store in the UK. 6-button French front design. The exquisitely deep side slits allow for easy movement, and the low neckline means it won't feel cramped even when all the buttons are fastened. The uniquely washed cotton poplin gives the fabric a firm feel, giving it the impression of a dress shirt despite its loose, big silhouette. While retaining the elements of the vintage shirt it was modeled on, the result is a shirt that can be worn in all situations. It's also fun to wear clothes without ironing them after washing and leaving them with wrinkles.
