Names of parts that make up the track

Today is the most difficult part of skateboarding. Let's take a look at the truck part, which has many parts.

Washer Ring

This is a part that stabilizes the rotational force of the wheel. When installing the wheels on the truck, insert one wheel at a time from each side.

King Nut

This is a nut that adjusts the bushing rubber of the truck. If it gets crushed and becomes sluggish, it will damage the kingpin. This is a part that we recommend replacing regularly.

*Hanger

The part that is also the face of the truck. As you do more grind tricks, it will wear down and wear out. If you can see the inner shaft, it's time to replace it!

Cup Washer

This is a dish-shaped part that holds the bush in the center of the truck. It serves to prevent the bushing from being crushed from the outside during operation. Although it is not likely to break down, it is recommended that you replace it as part of your maintenance.

Pivot

This is a plastic part that supports the moving parts of the truck. If this collapses, it will become less mobile and cause damage to the truck. This is a very maniac part.

King Pin

This is the pin for the center axis of the truck. Nowadays, it doesn't break easily, but it used to break a lot. It's very difficult to replace it yourself! These are the parts that make Skate Shop cry.

Please be careful not to make a mistake as some brands are not compatible and some are for Hi/Lo.

Base Plate

The base of the truck. The lightweight truck is thoroughly cut out. If you overdo the nose slide, this area will also be scraped and disappear. I don't sell them individually, so I don't usually exchange them. If this breaks, let's buy a new truck.

Axel Nut

Replacement frequency NO.1. These nuts are used to fasten the wheels on both sides of the truck. If it gets crushed and becomes sluggish, it will damage the shaft of the truck. This is a part that we recommend replacing regularly.

The above are the parts that make up a typical truck. As long as you remember this, you'll be fine.

Replacing parts and maintaining skateboards are part of the fun of skateboarding, and are something skaters are particular about.
